SUMMARY:Open Practice #2 - Visit us at Van Dorn Park!
DESCRIPTION:Lancaster Composite Mountain Bike Team will host open practice at Van Dorn Park for students entering 6-12th grade. Bring your mountain bike and a helmet to learn basic on the bike skills that everyone needs for trail riding. Coaches will lead students through skill drills and apply the skills to a group bike game. Newer riders will apply skills to the Van Dorn Single Track trail. Returning students can join a group trail ride to Wilderness Park and back. \nStudents that are not registered for the season MUST complete the online waiver to participate.

DESCRIPTION:Nebraska DEVO will host a pre-season DEVO event at Trago Park. Lancaster Composite Coaches and returning high school students will be on-site to volunteer support for this special collaboration with the Malone Center. New students can join the fun with skill zones\, bike games\, and a raffle. Nebraska DEVO is an 8-week summer mountain bike skills program in June and July for youth age 5-18 years old and many of the Lancaster Composite athletes also participate(d) in DEVO. \nMore information about the local DEVO summer program is available online: http://www.nebraskadevo.org/
