SUMMARY:Volunteer at Gravel Worlds Bike Wash!!
DESCRIPTION:The biggest fundraiser for us last year was a bike wash station at Gravel Worlds in Lincoln. More than 1\,500 riders will cycle through the county’s gravel roads this year. At the end\, our team will be there with cleaning solution and brushes to send their bikes home clean. We will need students and parents to volunteer for 2-4 hours shifts. All volunteers that sign up here (scroll right unil you see “Bike Wash (Lancaster Composite Members) get a free meal\, tshirt\, and more. Audrey Saksena will be assisting with student leadership of this event. Please come lend your support. Funds raised are greatly appreciated to support needs during our race weekends.

DESCRIPTION:Our team volunteered to support a mountain bike race on the 15th at Branched Oak Area 7 (BO7). We need your help for early morning setup and mid-day teardown. SUMMARY:POSTPONED TO 15th! Branched Oak Battle Royale
DESCRIPTION:We looked into renting a few dozen hair dryers today so volunteers could go air out the trail after the deluge this morning. Thankfully the race director recognized the futility of this endeavor and just elected to postpone the event and reschedule it for the same time next Saturday.\n\nOur volunteer sheet\, mailed to all team families\, will remain open if you need to EDIT your assignment availability or can ADD your name for next week. I’m choosing to be grateful that we enjoyed an epic\, dry practice this week with 26 athletes and nine coaches. We look forward to more trail riding days with each other soon!

DESCRIPTION:CANCELED: As most Midwesterners lean back in their chair today and sigh\, “whelp\, we really needed the moisture\,” I’m sad to report our season kickoff at Branched Oak for maintenance and laps is cancelled. The trail is too wet from the rain last night. More rain forecasted throughout the night/day will make our efforts ineffective. Enjoy your weekend. We’ll see you Wednesday and/or Thursday next week.
