Hi Parents,
Once again our team had so many moments of pride! Congrats to the kids for accomplishing their goals, to those who persevered despite mechanicals, and unexpected conditions, and those who fought hard whether it was physically or mentally or both. We really appreciated the team parents who helped, and drove many hours to support the kids and team!
Our team won the league’s Hype Stick. Being recognized for our team culture was one of the best things! A culture of inclusivity and helping everyone regardless of which team they’re on. Thanks to the kids, parents and coaches who contributed to this!
Our awesome high school seniors were also recognized on Sunday: Jamison, Liam, Mischa and Nas! We hope they’ll come back next season to coach!
This week is a little up in the air.
The weather forecast can be inaccurate. We’re hoping so. We’ll keep you informed. We’ll make the call about Thursday’s practice on Thursday at noon. The league will be re-evaluating Saturday’s plan on Thursday evening. If anything changes, we’ll let you know as soon as we’re able.
Here’s the plan:
Thursday, October 26th – Practice at Van Dorn Park. 5:30-7:30 pm
Our last practice for the season. Fun games with mini-pumpkins and witches broomsticks. Complete a Trick of hill repeats and go home with stroopwafel treats and hot cocoa. Bring front and rear lights for night riding.
Saturday, October 28th – Make up race at Branched Oak Area 7

- 8:45 am Staging – Wave 1 MS Boys
- 9:00 am Racing Begins

- 10:30 am Girls Wave 2 Racing Begins
- 12:00 pm High school boys ride ready at our tent, ready to warm up.
